Perfect Speed
or Throw Away That Plan!

Toni Lynn Chinoy - 4/30/2010

Life is about choosing.

What if what you were taught was wrong? How would you know? Would you dare use a different foundation for making choices after all you have been taught?
Remember when you were told that people who lived without clear and defined goals would end up failures. Some of you may even believe that without goals you will end up homeless and without teeth, begging for mercy from some passerby who has lived his or her life properly.

There is one and only one measuring system for choosing well. Is your life satisfying? Are you living your myth? Are you happy?

Or are you encountering one obstacle after another that you feel powerless to overcome? Have you learned that life is about fighting for personal power, and there is little else? Do you feel as though life is becoming meaningless in spite of your best efforts to create a life of quality? Perhaps reclaiming your life is not a matter of completely shedding what you believe to be true about decision-making, but instead is a matter of being open to and testing new constructs for making personal and professional choices.

This short text represents a way of thinking about life and its many disappointments and challenges. Although you will read it quickly, you will think about the concepts here for a long time.
